‘D’ – Cardio Day Physical Golf Training Strategy
Off Season Golf Workouts and Training Strategy
During your off season, perform a cardio training workout at least once a week, but no more than 2 or 3 depending on your fitness goals. In most cases, golfers only need to maintain in the off season, not necessarily lose mass. So once/week is sufficient. Usually it’s a good idea to take off or take it easy during your On Course Training (D) Cardio Days.
Note there are no Cardio Days during your in season training strategy. You’ll do enough low intensity cardio all season. Off Season, a good strategy is to implement once per week in the Monthly Golf Calendars.
