In Season Golf Workouts and Training Strategy
During your season, perform strength training exercises no more than once a week. You can increase the number of ‘B’ Days in the off season to 2-3, but no more. Strength Days should be performed, preferably, two days before any recorded round or a Game Day to give your muscles plenty of time to recover before the score counts. B Strength Days are for In-Season strength training, E Strength Days are for Off-Season. Use this resource for Both ‘B’ & ‘D’ golf training days.
The purpose of physical conditioning on a strength day is simply to maintain your core strength.
